Some collectors might recall this print, first made in ‘04. This portrait, Engawa (’Veranda’), was a sell-out success hot off Paul Binnie’s press. This summer sees a re-release of the print, but this time you’ll notice its deeper, vivid colours - just look at that sensual raspberry deep-pink background!

This is the non-tattoo version of Utamaro no Shunga, which we also sell. It’s also now become part of  the Azuma Nishiki Bijin Awase (’A Collection of Eastern Brocade Beauties’) series.
